Atwood Rescue Fund (ARF)

We at Atwood strive to provide the best care possible for all pets that walk through the door. Unfortunately we aren’t in the position to take in strays, like a shelter would do, but occasionally we will come across an animal that we may be able to help. For example we just took in an 8-year-old kitty named “Morris”, who was going to be euthanized due to a urinary obstruction, which could not be paid for by the owner. We decided that ARF (Atwood Rescue Fund) would pay for the kitty’s treatment and take care of him until we can find him a good home.

We accept any donations from blankets and towels to litter boxes. We also have a donation jar if clients have any change they would like to give towards the cost. We also use the ARF funds for other items, such as helping a client pay by donating something towards the bill, if there aren’t any animals that we are currently treating and ARF has the funds available.

We would like to be able to help every case we see for abandoned animals, but our funds don’t allow us to do this, but this fund can help us because every little bit counts.
