Surgery

We use Isoflourane and Sevoflourane for our gas anethesia. They are very safe and often the animal can eat the same evening.  We have a monitoring system that every animal is hooked up to while under anesthesia .  This system monitors respiration, body temperature, heart waves (EKG), pulse, and c02 absorption.  Not only is there a Surgical Technician monitoring the sleeping patient, but all of the major functions to be aware of are right up on a screen for you to see and print out. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible while your pet is having any procedure here at Atwood Animal Hosptital.  We think our equiptment helps us do just that.
